Conversations may be linked to your customer or lead record in our internal CRM so that our team can assist you with full context.

16.3 Where It Is Stored

Messages are delivered through Meta's infrastructure and are also stored on our own servers within our CRM system. Meta processes this data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy, available at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal and https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.

16.4 Business Customers

Where we provide our CRM to your organisation and you connect your own WhatsApp Business number to it, you remain the controller of the messages and contacts held in your account. We act as a processor on your behalf, store that data solely to provide the service to you, and do not use it for our own purposes.

16.5 Retention

WhatsApp conversations are retained for as long as necessary to serve you and to meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
